Gilat Family House Prayer

Friends of the artist commissioned Norman to create a house prayer which they wanted to give as a house warming present to good friends of theirs in Israel. Wanting something that combined the eternal Jerusalem with a "windowed" background, the artist and his friends chose this particular layout with windows for the landscapes and the prayer itself against a background of floral decoration with the cubical multi-colored shapes.



One of the most spectacular scenes in Jerusalem, the star-studded summer's night sky with the full moon.
